My Story
"If you can tell a story well, you can move people to do something."
- Soledad O'Brien
I've always had a passion for writing. In primary school my English teacher made me promise her that I would dedicate my first book to her. I kept my promise and I dedicated my first article to her.

I found a passion for film and television as a teenager and went on to study it at Solent University but soon found I was enjoying writing my essays and scripts more than being behind a camera. I then decided to study my Master of Arts in Journalism at Oxford Brookes University in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic.

After graduating in 2021, I was presented with the opportunity to become a stylist intern for Fabulous Magazine. Four months of unpaid work on various sets paid off because fashion director Tracey Lea Sayer helped me secure my internship with Fabulous Daily, The Sun. This later led to me working on the consumer desk and my current position on the SEO team.

The Sun has put me on their apprenticeship scheme to study for my NCTJ whilst working for them.
