2023, what a year you have been... it started in the most horrific way possible but now it seems brighter.
So what happened?
1. I got stronger
Cringey to say? Yes. Absolutely true? Also yes.
I got stronger physically and mentally. My CrossFit stats are rising and so is my mood. It's simple, CrossFit Chloe is a happy Chloe.
I also got my diet under control, small wins!
2. Got over my heart break
I thought because my ex cheated on me with my best friend I should be over and done with it straight away. I wasn't. It took me months. I still see them both in town sometimes. That's tough but I'm working on forgiving them both.
3. I went on a holiday
Nothing beats a family holiday. I went to the south of France with my Mum, Grandparents and cousin. It's safe to say it was one of the best holidays I've had in a long time and I needed it. We did kayaking, cycling and ate a lot of food! I hope I can go back to France next year, until then I have a trip to Turkey booked!
4. I passed more NCTJ exams and I'm moving desks.
A small step towards my long term life goal of becoming a documentary maker or news journalist. I've passed public affairs! I genuinely felt I'd ruined my chances of passing but I guess not. Wish me luck on future exams!
Next week, I start on the SEO desk... I'm shitting myself (excuse my French) but hope my skills will expand and lead onto more opportunities!
5. I started saving to go travelling
Have I only saved £100? Yes. Is it £100 closer to Australia and New Zealand? Also yes. Small steps, big goals! I cannot wait to go down under and explore the world.
It's a small update from me but I hope soon I'll provide you all with a bigger one!
- Chloe.
Hey Chloe, glad to see the progress and to see you enjoyed the trip. Keep it up!
