It's been a long time since I wrote on this blog. I've never gotten into it properly. Why? Because I felt no one was reading it! So why am I starting now?
My life has turned upside down
My relationship of two years ended in the most horrendous way possible. I feel completely lost but four weeks have passed and is it getting better? YES! 100% yes. My goals have changed and I have decided blogging it all might be a good way to document it all. So what are my goals for 2023?
CrossFit.
I found a new love for CrossFit. I was recommended to start there by a friend (thank you Jacob). I have been training in the gym for four years but felt my training hit a brick wall. My body wasn't building muscle in the way I wanted it to. So what could I do? Join the most intense gym of them all. I'm slowly making friends there and inserting myself into the CrossFit community and (hopefully) I'll soon fell like the boss ass queen I am.
2. Read more books
Thank you Goodreads, you're inspiring me to read books and fall in love with reading once again. I've read 10 books so far and plan to read at least 26. How do I intend to reach this goal? Easy read every day. I have my beloved paperbacks but also the Kindle app on my phone, meaning my commute to London is often filled with me being immersed in a book (currently Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban).
3. Pass my NCTJ
I need my NCTJ to achieve my dreams of gracing your TV screens as a morning news reporter. It's a small step to a big dream. I need to pass and I will.
4. Travel to Australia
I'd never properly considered going to Australia until recently. I've seen a few friends post of their travels there and thought I wish that was me. Well why can't it be Chloe?
So the plan, pass my NCTJ and go to Australia for three months. If I love it and make friends then I'll stay for a year if not, I'll meet some kangaroos, koalas and have the most exciting adventure of my life. I won't be going until at least 2024 but my savings pot is open and I'm slowly filling it up.
There small goals (bar Australia) but they're my goals and I hope this blog will encapsulate me achieving them. I'm not sure when I'll write next but I hope you're here when I do!
- Chloe xoxo
